Instrument: Violin II

A native of Edmonton, Zoë Sellers has played second violin with the ESO since 1985. Zoë launched her musical career right here in Edmonton at the ripe old age of 3 with Yoko Oike Wong. She discovered her enjoyment of orchestral playing with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada during the summers of 1981/1982 and decided to make it her career. Along with her work with the ESO Zoë teaches violin, and enjoys playing for weddings and other happy occasions with Rococo Strings. In her spare time she enjoys trips to Jasper for biking and hiking with her husband Jim and their chocolate Labrador retriever, Buddy.
