  • Audience favourite Bob Bernhardt and special guests bring season’s greetings to the Winspear Centre. This concert celebrates the traditional Christmas spirit, spreading joy and cheer with memorable performances that feature the lovely sounds of the Greenwood Singers, Cantilon Chamber Choir, the U of A Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers and special guests from Victoria School of the Arts.

  • Dynamic a cappella group Chapter 6 and accomplished Broadway performers Karen Murphy and Farah Alvin will transport you back to the fabulous fifties with famous “Hit Parade” tunes, as well as themes from the hottest television and radio shows of the decade that introduced us to Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, and the “Elvis era” of rock and roll. This nostalgia-filled program will include the theme from I Love Lucy, Cry Me a River, Unchained Melody, and Jump, Jive an’ Wail.

  • As well as representing Alberta in the National Senate since 2000, The Hon. Tommy Banks has had an illustrious career spanning decades as an acclaimed performer, arranger, and conductor of jazz ensembles and symphonic pops shows. As the coordinator and occasional guest conductor of the ESO in the 1970s, The Hon. Tommy Banks returns to the helm of the Orchestra and is joined by close friend and internationally renowned Edmonton-based musician PJ Perry in a celebratory night of music. Alberta-based folk-pop group The Original Caste will also be featured.
