0 # Janice Kennett 2011-06-11 15:42 I very much enjoyed tonight's program. It was nice to just have the orchestra and not to have someone dancing or singing.

I thought I would let you know that there is an error in the Casablanca segment in case this program is being used elsewhere. There is a slide that says the actors are Humphrey Bogart and Peter Lorre. The second actor is not Peter Lorre but the actor who plays the person in charge of the roulette table or Rick's gambling room, I'm not sure which. I only know it wasn't Peter Lorre. He is featured in several other slides, wearing a white suit.

I look forward to next year's program. You're a great orchestra.

0 # richard kaufman 2011-06-15 09:22 Dear Janice,

I'm so glad you enjoyed the concert! Having experienced, along with you and the audience, the superb quality of the musicians in the ESO, I agree that hearing the orchestra perform without a singer or dancer must have been very special.
And thank you for pointing out the mistake in the "Casablanca" visual. I will make sure that this is corrected, and will think of you the next time I conduct the music!
I had a great time working with the ESO, and also being able to spend time in such a wonderful city. Again, many thanks for your kind words. Very best wishes, Richard
